The wines, from a dozen Italian regions and
provided by The Wine Source, were extremely well-received
and perfectly complemented the variety of dishes generously
donated by some of Baltimore s finest
restaurants. |
|

The Master of Ceremonies was Baltimore's
irreverent wine guru Peter Wood, who kept a lively pace as
he worked through the lit of items. |

About Evergreen Museum & Library
Formerly the home of two generations of Baltimore's
prominent Garrett family, Evergreen Museum & Library and its
collection of over 50,000 objects were bequeathed to the
Johns Hopkins University in 1942 with the stipulation that
the estate remain open to "lovers of music, art, and
beautiful things." Since opening to the public in 1990,
Evergreen Museum & Library has surpassed mere historic preservation to
creatively respond to the Garretts' legacy. Today,
Evergreen operates as a dynamic house museum, contemporary
art center, and performance space, offering a year-round
calendar of artist residency programs for emerging and
established artists; lectures, symposia, and concerts;
exhibitions; and educational programming.
