Flutist David Fedele is a dramatic and
charismatic artist and harpist Victoria Drake
stretches the boundaries of music for the harp.
This exceptional duo presents a diverse program
with music by Handel, C.P.E. Bach, Debussy,
Bartók, de Falla, Jongen, and Persichetti.
Friday, November 10, 8 p.m. JUPITER STRING QUARTET Carriage House
Praised for its distinctive sound and go-for-broke
intensity, the Boston-based Jupiter String Quartet
(Nelson Lee, Meg Freivogel, violins; Liz Freivogel,
viola; Daniel McDonough, cello) recently captured
some impressive awards, picking up first place
honors in both the Banff String Quartet Competition,
and the Young Concert Artists International Auditions.
At Evergreen, they will perform beloved and challenging works
by Haydn, Brahms, and Shostakovich.

Canada’s Adaskin String Trio (Emlyn Ngai, violin;

by virtuoso oboist Thomas Gallant for a
performance of quartets and trios.
