Evergreen Museum & Library is located at 4545 North Charles Street between Loyola College and the College of Notre Dame, just fifteen minutes from Baltimore's Inner Harbor and is easily accessible from I-695 and I-83.

From Points North on I-95/I-695

From I-95 south, take the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) west toward Towson.
Exit at Charles St. (exit 25) and proceed south on Charles St. for approximately 7 miles.
After passing the College of Notre Dame of Maryland on your left, Evergreen Museum & Library will be on your left, at 4545 North Charles St. The gated entrance is just north of Loyola College and Cold Spring Lane.

From MD 295 (the Baltimore-Washington Parkway)

Entering Baltimore, MD 295 becomes Russell Street.
Then, follow directions below.

From Points South/I-95

From I-95 north, take Russell St. (exit 52) north.
Russell St. veers right onto Paca St., just north of Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Proceed north on Paca St. and turn right onto W. Pratt St.
Turn left onto Charles St. and proceed north for approximately four miles.
The gated entrance is located on your right at 4545 N. Charles St., just after the Cold Spring Lane intersection and Loyola College.

From I-83 (The Jones Falls Expressway or JFX) North or South

Take the Cold Spring Lane East exit (southbound: exit on the right, turn left onto Cold Spring Lane; northbound: exit right directly onto Cold Spring Lane) and proceed to Charles Street. Turn left onto Charles Street and turn right after just .1 mile into Evergreen's gated entrance at 4545 N. Charles St., just north of Loyola College.

After entering Evergreen's gates, take the left fork up the hill to the Main House.

By Bus

The #11 (local, $1.60) bus runs along North Charles Street between downtown (including Penn Station) and Evergreen, passing the Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus. Use the Loyola College stop. The museum is located a 5 to 7 minute walk north on N. Charles above the Cold Spring Lane intersection. Proceed through the iron gates and follow the left-hand driveway up the hill to the museum. The Baltimore Collegetown Shuttle (free with college i.d.), a service of the Baltimore Collegetown Network (BCN), is a free student shuttle that runs between five local colleges. Use the Loyola College stop. The museum is located a 5 to 7 minute walk north on N. Charles above the Cold Spring Lane intersection.
