Homewood Awarded Free Fall
Grant
|
|
Supports Free Admission and new
ArtWalk
Homewood
House Museum has been awarded a grant from the "Free Fall Baltimore"
project to support FREE individual admission during the months of
October and November! The grant also funds the Historic
Homewood ArtWalk, a new walking tour developed in
collaboration with our neighbor, the BMA. Spend a day
immersing yourself in these two significant collections of
American decorative arts, and discover the 200-year history of
the physical and artistic landscape in which they are
located.
FREE guided
ArtWalks will be offered twice a day on Fridays in October and
November, departing Homewood at noon and the BMA at 1 p.m.
An informative brochure will allow visitors to follow the art
trail self-guided. Keep checking our website for
up-to-date information.
Free Fall
Baltimore is made possible by a grant from Mayor Martin O'Malley
and the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The
Arts.

On View Through October 15
Evergreen
recently earned the 10 spot on The Sun's top 20 list of
ways to take a vacation at home. While it might be too late
(and too much effort) to take that European vacation you've been
dreaming of, the Museum's exhibition, Inside/Out:
Sculpture at Evergreen is still going strong...so strong, in
fact, that we've extended it through October
15! Escape for a few hours amidst
Evergreen's sprawling gardens, and seek out the ten new
sculptures inspired by and created for this grand estate.
No packing necessary; just download a map and
you're ready to go!
